What is Rallycross?
Rallycross is similar to Autocross, except for one big difference - Rallycross is done in the dirt, not on pavement. Other than that, you are navigating a short course defined by pylons and trying to have a faster time than other cars in your class.

Is it fun?
You bet If you like practicing car control in a situation where you car doesn’t want to be controlled - this is for you. If you’ve ever watched those TV commercials where the cars are flyin’ around in the desert and thought, “Wow - I’d like to do that ” - this is for you. If you’ve ever watched Pro Rally races and thought, “Woo-Hoo - that’s a blast” - then this is for you.

What do I need to Rallycross?
All you need is a car. You could use your daily driver, but be warned - the Jean Dry Lake Bed will get dust everywhere - it can get between the threads of a nut and bolt (almost). A good plan is to rent or borrow a car - why get yours all dirty? Oh yeah, one more thing: Bring $25 for your entry fee. This event will be the “Get down and Dirty with 3 of Your Closest Friends” Challenge. After the event, we’ll have a clean-up / awards party at the world famous Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings (about 10 minutes from the Lake Bed).
